Monoammonium phosphate

Monoammonium phosphate

Monoammonium phosphate (NH4H2PO4) is a kind of high concentration quick acting nitrogen and phosphorus compound fertilizer, which is mainly composed of phosphorus. The appearance is grayish white, no hygroscopicity, no caking, and easy to dissolve in water. Its chemical properties are acidic and suitable for various crops and all kinds of soil, especially in alkaline soil and where phosphorus deficiency is more serious, the effect of increasing production is obvious.

The specific application method of ammonium phosphate is as follows:
1. It is most suitable for base fertilizer. The average amount of acre is between 15-25 kilograms. For high-yield crops, the amount of per acre can also be appropriately increased. Usually, MAP is applied to the soil before land preparation, or furrow then applying after planting.
2. It can be used as seed fertilizer. When ammonium phosphate is used as seed fertilizer, sowing it to the soil together with seeds, and the amount per acre is generally controlled at 2.5-5 kg.

Ammonium phosphate (NH4H2PO4)
Properties:
Colorless transparent square crystal with a relative density of 1.0803 (19°C). The melting point is 190 degrees centigrade. It is easy to melt in water, insoluble in alcohol and insoluble in acetone.
Main uses:
It is a high efficiency nitrogen and phosphorus compound fertilizer. It can be used as flame retardant for wood, paper and fabric, fiber processing and dispersing agent in dyestuff industry
